Jaison Thomas is a managing director in the firm’s investment banking business.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Thomas was an associate in the media and telecom group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, focused on the diversified media, cable and wireless sectors.

Select transactions include advising Deltatre on its sale to Bain Capital and Nextalia, HMH on its sale to Veritas Capital, Appriss on its sale of Appriss Insights to Equifax, Sphera on its sale to Blackstone, Clarivate Analytics on its acquisition of ProQuest, Nasdaq on its acquisition of Verafin, National Amusements in connection with its merger of CBS and Viacom, Green Street Advisors on its sale to WCAS, Advance Publications on its acquisition of Turnitin, the Scripps family in connection with the sale of Scripps Networks to Discovery, and IMG on its sale to Silver Lake and WME.

Prior to BAML, Mr. Thomas was an associate in the life sciences vertical of Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Mr. Thomas has a B.Tech. in mechanical engineering from University of Kerala, India, and an MBA from University of Texas, Austin.
