Jack Eshelman is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory practice, with a focus on clients in the transportation, energy and infrastructure sectors.

In his time at Evercore, he has advised on over $80B of transactions, including Excelerate Energy on its acquisition of New Fortress Energy’s Jamaican downstream LNG and power business; OSG on its sale to Saltchuk; Blackrock on the sale of its 45% interest in GasLog to GIC; Canadian Pacific Railway on its acquisition of Kansas City Southern Railway; USA Truck on its sale to DB Schenker; the group of ad hoc creditors on the chapter 11 restructuring of LATAM Airlines; Altera Infrastructure on its chapter 11 restructuring; and ad hoc creditors on the chapter 11 restructuring of American Commercial Lines.

Prior to Evercore, he was a member of the M&A group at Credit Suisse, focusing on the midstream energy sector, and an investment analyst at AvalonBay Communities.

He holds a B.A. with distinction and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
