Hans Vestberg

Hans Vestberg is a senior advisor at Evercore, based in New York. He has decades of global leadership experience across telecommunications, technology, sports and business transformation, advising clients on strategic and financial matters.

Previously, Mr. Vestberg served as chief executive officer of Verizon from 2018 to 2025 and chairman from 2019 to 2025, leading its 5G strategy and expansion across mobility, broadband and enterprise services. He joined Verizon as chief technology officer and president of Global Networks. Before Verizon, Mr. Vestberg spent more than two decades at Ericsson, where he served as president and chief executive officer from 2010 to 2016 and previously as chief financial officer.

Mr. Vestberg serves on the boards of directors of BlackRock and the United Nations Foundation. He previously served as chairman of the World Economic Forum’s EDISON Alliance and the Swedish Olympic Committee and co-chairman of the New Jersey CEO Council.

Mr. Vestberg earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Uppsala University in Sweden.
