Guilherme Musa
Guilherme Musa is a managing director in the firm’s Infrastructure, Utilities and Renewables group based in New York.
Mr. Musa has more than 10 years of experience in the finance industry, including eight years as an investment banker. He has worked on M&A and capital markets transactions across renewables, energy transition, conventional power, and regulated utilities for corporate, private equity and infrastructure funds.
Select transactions include advising Dominion Energy on its acquisition of SCANA, Platinum Equity on the sale of Hunterstown Power Generation facility to LS Power, Brazos Sandy Creek noteholders on the restructuring of Brazos Sandy Creek, Apollo Infrastructure on the IPO of Acropolis Infrastructure Acquisition Corp., Renewable Energy Group on its follow-on equity and initial bond offering, Ares and I Squared on the debt raise for Oregon Clean Energy, and LS Power on the debt raise for West Deptford Energy.
Prior to joining Evercore, he worked at Credit Suisse’s power and renewables group in New York and at SMBC’s corporate banking team in São Paulo, Brazil.
Mr. Musa earned a B.A. in public administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – EAESP and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
