Guilherme Musa

Guilherme Musa is a managing director in the firm’s Energy Transition team based in New York.

Over his more than 10-year career, Mr. Musa has worked on M&A and capital markets transactions across renewables, energy transition, conventional power, and regulated utilities for corporate, private equity and infrastructure funds.

Recent transactions include advising Calpine on its sale to Constellation; Capital Power on its purchase of two gas-fired power assets from LS Power; Cricket Valley Energy Center on its comprehensive recapitalization; WIN Waste on its sale of the South Broward WtE facility to FCC Environmental Services; Avenue & Nuveen in the minority stake sale of Vistra Vision to Vistra; and Platinum Equity on the sale of Hunterstown Power Generation facility to LS Power.

Prior to joining Evercore, he worked at Credit Suisse’s energy and infrastructure group in New York and at SMBC’s corporate banking team in São Paulo, Brazil.

Mr. Musa earned a B.A. in public administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – EAESP and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
