Greg Melich
Greg Melich is a senior managing director at Evercore ISI and leads the Broadlines & Hardlines Team in covering the retail industry. He has over 20 years of consumer-related research, consistently voted by clients as a top analyst in both Europe and North America, achieving a ranking of No. 1 in Institutional Investor for nine years.
Mr. Melich joined Evercore ISI in 2010 to launch the consumer research effort. As senior managing director at the firm, clients voted him the No. 1 Institutional Investor-ranked broadline & hardline retail analyst for six consecutive years. After a brief stint leading the multichannel retail business at MoffettNathanson, he rejoined Evercore ISI in 2019. He has since consistently been named to II’s All-America Research Team, most recently in 2023.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Melich was a managing director at Morgan Stanley covering the auto and retail sectors.
Mr. Melich is a chartered financial analyst and earned his B.A. from the College of William & Mary, where he serves on the Boehly Center Finance Board.
