Greg Melich

Greg Melich is a senior managing director leading the Broadlines & Hardlines Team in covering the retail industry. He has over 20 years of consumer-related research, consistently voted by clients as a top analyst in both North America and Europe, achieving a ranking of No. 1 in the Extel (formerly Institutional Investor) All-America and All-European Research Teams for nine years.

Mr. Melich joined Evercore ISI in 2010 to launch the consumer research effort, serving on ISI’s management committee prior to the merger. After a brief stint leading the multichannel retail business at MoffettNathanson, he rejoined Evercore ISI in 2019 and has regularly been named to the All-America team, including top 3 in 2025.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Melich was a managing director at Morgan Stanley covering the auto and retail sectors.

Mr. Melich is a chartered financial analyst and earned his B.A. from the College of William & Mary, where he serves on the Boehly Center Finance Board.
