Giuseppe Monarchi is a senior managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory business based in London.

He has over 30 years of experience advising corporate and financial sponsor clients with a strong focus on telecommunications, including digital infrastructure.

Prior to joining Evercore in 2023, Mr. Monarchi was head of Credit Suisse’s EMEA investment banking and capital markets division, as well as global head of media and telecom.

Select transaction experience at Credit Suisse includes advising Lottomatica on its IPO; Apax and Warburg Pincus on the acquisition of TM NL; KPN on the formation of the Glaspoort JV with APG; Liberty Global on the acquisition of Sunrise and the divestiture of UPC Poland; BT on the sale of BT Spain and the divestiture of part of the BT Italy business; Omers on the acquisition of Deutsche Glasfaser and Inexio; IGT on the sale of its Italian gaming business to Gamenet; and KKR on the sale of United Group to BC Partners.

Mr. Monarchi graduated with honours in business and economics from the University of Rome, La Sapienza.
