George Phillips

George Phillips is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory practice and focuses on a wide range of financial and strategic transactions in the consumer and retail sector.

Mr. Phillips joined Evercore in 2014 as a member of the U.K. M&A team, advising on public and private deals. Select transaction experience includes advising Nom Nom on its sale to Mars, AstraZeneca on its acquisition of Alexion, Accelya on its sale to Warburg Pincus, ICAP on the sale of its Global Broking Division to Tullett Prebon, Horizon Discovery on its sale to PerkinElmer, Mitie Group on its acquisition of Interserve Facilities Management, Shire on its acquisition of Baxalta, and Avon Rubber on its acquisition of Team Wendy.

Mr. Phillips has a B.A. (Hons) from The University of York and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
