Geoff Treat

Geoff Treat is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory team in Spain and Portugal, based in Madrid.

Mr. Treat has advised on a broad range of public and private M&A and capital markets transactions across sectors including utilities, renewables, infrastructure, telecom, general industrials and healthcare. Notable transactions include the sale of Vodafone Spain to Zegona, the sale of Exus Management Partners to Partners Group, the sale of Neolith to CVC by Investindustrial, the Otis/Zardoya Otis public takeover, and the sale of Airbus Group’s defence electronics business (now Hensoldt) to KKR.

Mr. Treat joined Evercore in 2013 and has previously worked in the firm’s New York and London offices. Earlier, he was an analyst in UBS’ global chemicals team in New York.

Mr. Treat graduated magna cum laude with a double degree in finance and accounting from the University of Maryland. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
