Gene Ziegler

Gene Ziegler is a managing director in the Technology group in San Francisco, where he primarily advises internet and travel tech clients.

Select transaction experience includes the sale of Innovid to Mediaocean, Criteo on activist shareholder matters and its acquisition of Iponweb, the sale of Roadie to UPS, Precisely on the sale of a significant minority interest to Insight Partners and Partners Group, GI Partners on its significant growth investment in Aras, CAI Software on its sale to STG, and Innovid on its public listing via merger with ION Acquisition Corp. 2.

Mr. Ziegler was previously with Evercore’s transportation group in New York and began his investment banking career at J.P. Morgan.

Mr. Ziegler earned a B.A. in economics from St. Lawrence University, where he was a Presidential Diversity Scholar and Vilas Business Scholar, and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
