Fausto Borotto is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory practice focused on the technology sector.
At Evercore, his notable deals include advising Dayforce on its sale to Thoma Bravo; Hexagon on the sale of its Design & Engineering Business to Cadence; Synopys on its acquisition of Ansys; Fortive on its spinoffs of Ralliant and Vontier and acquisitions of Provation Software and Censis Technologies; Amphenol on its acquisition of Carlisle Interconnect Technologies; IBM on its acquisition of Octo; Vocera on its sale to Stryker; Nuance on its sale to Microsoft and its spinoff of Cerence; Grubhub on its combination with Just Eat Takeaway.com; EMC on its sale to Dell and Silver Lake Partners; and Dell on its sale to Michael S. Dell and Silver Lake Partners.
Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Borotto worked at Morgan Stanley and IBM.
He holds an M.S. in industrial engineering from the University of Padua, Italy, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
