Eugene Tan
Eugene Tan is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory business, with extensive corporate finance experience in the technology sector across Europe and Asia Pacific.
Mr. Tan has advised many technology clients on M&A transactions, including TeamSystem on its minority stake sale to Silver Lake, ADIA and CapitalG; NortonLifeLock on its combination with Avast; Calypso Technology on its sale to Thoma Bravo; Unit4 on its sale to TA Associates; and PayPal on its acquisition of iZettle.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Tan worked as a strategy consultant to a fintech startup based in China and as an associate director of ICP Limited, a Singapore-listed investment holding company that owns Travelodge Hotels Asia. He started his career with UBS’ TMT corporate finance team in Hong Kong.
Mr. Tan holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Singapore Management University in Singapore.
