Elliot Ross is a managing director in the firm’s Debt Advisory & Restructuring Group.

Mr. Ross has worked on numerous restructuring and debt advisory assignments, advising companies, creditors, investors, and financial sponsors across several industries on a wide range of Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings, financing and liability management transactions, and distressed mergers and acquisitions. Notable completed public assignments include advisory roles on the restructurings of Lumileds, Altera Infrastructure, LATAM Airlines, Belk, Sanchez Energy, Tapstone Energy, EdgeMarc Energy, Preferred Sands, Tops Friendly Markets, Southeastern Grocers, Bonanza Creek, TwentyEighty, Templar Energy, the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., and Exide Technologies.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Ross was an attorney at Skadden Arps, practicing in the areas of corporate restructuring and M&A. Prior to law school, Mr. Ross was a senior auditor at Ernst & Young.

Mr. Ross has a J.D. (magna cum laude, Order of the Coif) from Fordham Law, an M.S. in accounting from the University of Virginia, and a B.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
