Elias Mouawad
Elias Mouawad is a senior managing director at Evercore and has headed the firm’s Middle East strategic advisory business since 2017.
Mr. Mouawad has nearly 20 years’ experience in investment banking, advising on more than 30 completed transactions for clients in the Middle East and Europe. Notable assignments include advising the PIF on investments in AccorInvest and Lucid Motors; Sanabil on its investment in Major Food Group and the acquisition of RA&A; Blackrock’s investment in Positive Zero; Mubadala on its investment in Getir; QIA on its investments in Pulkovo International Airport and sale of Banco Santander Brasil stake; Network International on its IPO and cornerstone investment by Mastercard; and several sale processes for Shift Inc., Salma Hospital, SellAnyCar.com and Hyperpay.
Before joining Evercore, Mr. Mouawad spent 10 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the corporate and investment banking division in Dubai, Doha and Paris. Previously, he worked at Lazard (Paris) and Credit Suisse (London).
He holds a Masters in Management & Finance from HEC Paris.
