Deepak Kamdar

Deepak Kamdar is a senior managing director and the business unit controller for Evercore’s global investment banking business.

Mr. Kamdar has over 28 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Evercore in 2006, he was the assistant controller at Primus Guaranty, where he helped develop the financial infrastructure for the company, from startup phase to  initial public offering. Previously, he worked as assistant vice president of finance at Cantor Fitzgerald. Mr. Kamdar also spent four years at Morgan Stanley as an associate in the fixed income division and in the corporate reporting division. He began his career as a staff accountant at American International Group.

Mr. Kamdar received his bachelor’s in accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College.
