David Palmer

David Palmer is a senior managing director and heads the Restaurants and Food Producers equity research team.

In 2025, he ranked No. 1 for the third consecutive year for his coverage of the restaurants sector in the Extel (formerly Institutional Investor) All-America Research survey. He has consistently ranked runner-up or higher in both food producers and restaurants over the past 15 years.

Before joining Evercore ISI, Mr. Palmer was a managing director at RBC Capital Markets. Prior to that, he served as managing director and consumer sector head at UBS.

Mr. Palmer earned a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
