David Oppenheim is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory business, focusing on the insurance and wealth management sectors.

Mr. Oppenheim joined Evercore in 2012 and has over a decade of investment banking experience, advising private and public companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raise and other capital markets assignments.

Select transactions include advising AmeriLife on its investments from Genstar and T.H. Lee Partners, AIG on its launch of a dedicated high-net-worth insurance syndicate at Lloyd’s of London, Harvest Partners on its investment in Integrity Marketing Group, HighTower Advisors on its SPV recapitalization and subsequent debt raise, Blackstone on its investment in Annexus, Tokio Marine on its acquisition of HCC Insurance Holdings, and Old Mutual on the IPO of its U.S. asset management business.

Mr. Oppenheim earned a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Warwick.
