David Motemaden

David Motemaden is a senior managing director at Evercore ISI covering the U.S. property & casualty insurance and business services sectors. 

Mr. Motemaden has ranked top 2 research analysts in the Extel (formerly Institutional Investor) since 2022 in the nonlife insurance category.   

Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Mr. Motemaden was an investment analyst at Viking Global Investors in London covering global insurance equities. He was also an equity research associate at Credit Suisse covering the U.S. life insurance sector and a credit risk management analyst at Morgan Stanley focusing on financial institutions.  

He holds a B.S. in finance from Pennsylvania State University and is a chartered financial analyst.
