David Lischer
David Lischer is a senior managing director and co-leads the firm’s Private Capital Markets practice, focused on debt advisory and placement efforts on behalf of corporate, family-owned and financial sponsors clients.
Over his 25-year career, he has advised companies across all sectors on debt capital markets transactions to support M&A, organic growth, refinancing, project financing and share repurchases or special dividend. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Lischer was at Goldman Sachs, where he served as managing director in the credit and structured finance group within the investment banking division. Previously, he chaired Goldman’s credit markets capital committee. He served on the board of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association from 2014 to 2018.
Mr. Lischer holds a B.A. in economics and history with honors from Swarthmore College.
