Clay McCoy is a senior managing director in Evercore’s Private Capital Advisory group, specializing in infrastructure secondary market transactions. He is responsible for originating and advising financial sponsors and other managers of private infrastructure assets on strategic transactions, including continuation funds, single-asset deals, fund recapitalizations, tender offers, capital raises and other liquidity solutions available in the secondary market.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. McCoy was a managing director at Campbell Lutyens, where he led North American infrastructure secondaries advisory. Previously, he spent more than a decade in infrastructure M&A, both as a founding member of the infrastructure, power and renewables team at Solomon Partners and in the power, utilities and infrastructure team at RBC Capital Markets. He began his career in securitization at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Mr. McCoy earned a B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College and an M.S. in accountancy from Wake Forest University.
