Christopher Ross
Chris Ross is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory business and specializes in financial institutions, with a particular focus on insurance companies.
Select transactions include advising Westland on its capital partnership with OTPP/BroadStreet; Orchid on its sale to Brown & Brown; SUNZ on its strategic investment from Blackstone and subsequent sale of its service businesses to Acrisure; Align Financial on its sale to DUAL/Howden; Galway on its majority investment by Harvest; Palomar on its IPO and subsequent follow-on offerings; Charlesbank on its acquisition of World; and Acrisure on its management-led buyout and subsequent investment from Blackstone.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Ross worked as an associate in Citigroup’s insurance advisory group. Earlier in his career, he worked as an equity research analyst at JMP Securities and Fox-Pitt, Kelton. Previously, he worked as an external auditor at EY.
Mr. Ross, who is a chartered financial analyst, earned a master’s degree in accountancy and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Wake Forest.
