Christopher Lynch
Christopher Lynch is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory business, focusing on clients in the rail, trucking, logistics, and transportation equipment leasing industries.
Mr. Lynch’s experience includes advising the Board of Directors of Canadian Pacific on its acquisition of Kansas City Southern; Burlington Northern on its sale to Berkshire Hathaway; Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern Railroad on its sale to Canadian Pacific Railway; Knight Transportation on its merger with Swift Transportation; USA Truck on its sale of DB Schenker; I Squared Capital on the acquisition of Flexi-Van Leasing; Commercial Trailer Leasing on its sale to I Squared Capital; Contract Leasing on its sale to Wafra; Garrison Investments on the sale of Premier Trailer Leasing; and General Electric on the sale of GE Railcar Services’ per diem boxcar fleet to GATX.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Lynch served in the M&A group of Merrill Lynch and previously UBS Investment Bank.
He began his career as a CPA and holds a B.B.A. in accounting from Howard University and an MBA with distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
