Chris Buddin is a senior managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory business. He is based in Menlo Park.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Buddin worked at Goldman Sachs as co-head of the global auto-tech business and global head of the clean technology and renewables and comm-tech groups. Previously, he was in the technology group at Credit Suisse, where he was a founding member of the global alternative energy group and served as head of the clean technology practice.

For over 20 years, Mr. Buddin has advised on more than 160 transactions for some of the world’s most innovative and influential technology companies, including Tesla, NIO, GM, Cruise, Google, Apple, Sun Microsystems, Enphase Energy, SolarEdge Technologies, QuantumScape, Stem and Gogoro. He has advised clients at all stages of their business life cycle, including private capital raises, initial public offerings, debt financings and M&A transactions.

Mr. Buddin earned an A.B. in economics from Stanford University.
