Chris Buddin

Chris Buddin is a senior managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice. He is based in Menlo Park.

Mr. Buddin has more than 25 years of investment banking experience advising leading technology companies across defense technology, resilience, physical AI, mobility, communications technology and broader technology sectors. He also leads the firm’s venture capital coverage efforts. He has advised on more than 160 transactions for some of the world’s most innovative and influential companies, including Apple, Cruise, Enphase Energy, Google, NIO, QuantumScape, Rivian, Sun Microsystems and Tesla. His transaction experience spans all stages of the business life cycle, including private capital raises, initial public offerings, debt financings and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Buddin was a managing director at Goldman Sachs, where he served as co-head of the global auto-tech business and global head of the clean technology and renewables and comm-tech groups. Previously, he was a member of the technology group at Credit Suisse, where he was a founding member of the global alternative energy group and served as head of the clean technology practice.

Mr. Buddin earned an A.B. in economics from Stanford University.
