Bo Yi
Bo Yi is a managing director in Evercore’s Debt Advisory & Restructuring Group.
Mr. Yi has advised clients on a broad range of transactions, including general capital structure advisory, debt amendments, consent solicitations, exchange offers, out-of-court recapitalizations, debt and equity financings, M&A, and Chapter 11 and other insolvency proceedings.
His assignments at Evercore include Bonanza Creek Energy Resources, Brazos Sandy Creek Electric Cooperative, Clipper Group, Energy Future Holdings (formerly TXU), Essar Steel Algoma, General Electric, Harrah’s Entertainment, GenOn Mid-Atlantic, iQor Holdings, Kingfisher Midstream, Lucky Bucks, LyondellBasell, MACH Gen, Masonite, Noble Corp., ProServ, Seitel, Southern Foods Group (Dean Foods), Synagro Technologies, Talen Energy, TBS International, Templar Energy, The McClatchy Co. and Unit Corp.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Yi worked at Level 3 Communications in the corporate development group. He began his career at Lehman Brothers in the global mergers and acquisitions group in New York and London.
Mr. Yi earned a B.S. in business administration and a B.A. in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School.
