Barry Rabinowitz
Barry Rabinowitz, managing director, leads Evercore’s shareholder analytics practice within the Strategic, Defense & Shareholder Advisory team. He is a member of the firm’s Fairness Committee and Equity Commitments Committee, and has more than 15 years of experience in shareholder analysis and corporate valuation.
Mr. Rabinowitz’s recent experience includes Resideo’s announced separation, Chevron’s purchase of Hess, Enerplus’s merger with Chord Energy, Synopsys’ acquisition of Ansys, the merger of Rexnord’s PMC business with Regal Beloit, Fortive’s spinoff of Vontier, Verint’s spinoff of Cognyte, Grubhub’s combination with Just Eat Takeaway.com, and the sale of Anadarko to Occidental Petroleum.
Prior to joining Evercore, he was at Goldman Sachs for over 10 years in the M&A group, where he analyzed investor reaction to strategic transactions and served on the firm’s fairness committee, among other responsibilities. Mr. Rabinowitz also spent one year in Houlihan Lokey’s financial advisory practice, advising clients and boards on valuation related to M&A transactions.
Mr. Rabinowitz earned a B.B.A. with distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
