Avinash D’Souza

Avinash D’Souza is a senior managing director in the firm’s Liability Management & Restructuring Group.

Mr. D’Souza has advised companies across multiple industries on a wide range of corporate finance activities, including out-of-court restructurings, exchange offers and Chapter 11 proceedings.

Notable clients include Bausch Health, City Brewing, Cricket Valley Energy, GrafTech, American Rock Salt, Western Global, BrandSafway, Altera Infrastructure, Callon Petroleum, EP Energy, Southcross Energy Partners, Diebold Nixdorf, Castex 2005, Azure Midstream Partners, Chaparral Energy, Midstates Petroleum, Chesapeake Energy, Aurora Diagnostics, Open Mobile, Oxford Resource Partners, Otelco, TORM, Circus and Eldorado Joint Venture, the Trustees of the AIG Credit Facility Trust, and Builders FirstSource. Other restructuring engagements have included Spirit Airlines, STG Logistics, Rite Aid, Envision Healthcare, Phoenix Services, LATAM Airlines, Service King, Oasis Petroleum, Windstream, syncreon, Weatherford, Toys “R” Us, U.S. Steel Canada and Centro Properties Group.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. D’Souza worked as an aerodynamicist at Gulfstream Aerospace, a subsidiary of General Dynamics.

Mr. D’Souza earned a B.S. with highest honors in aerospace engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA with honors as a Palmer Scholar from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
