Ashley Szporka
Ashley Szporka is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory business focused on the life sciences tools and diagnostics sector.
Prior to joining Evercore, Ms. Szporka spent over a decade in healthcare investment banking at J.P. Morgan and Piper Jaffray, most recently as executive director at J.P. Morgan. She has been involved in numerous strategic and financing transactions across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences tools and diagnostics industries. Before her career in investment banking, she was an associate portfolio manager at Blackrock.
Notable transactions she has advised on include The Medicine’s Company on its sale to Novartis; Allergan on its sale to AbbVie; Merck KGaA on its sale of its consumer health business to Proctor & Gamble; Actavis on its acquisition of Allergan; Sotera Health on its initial public offering; and Avantor on its initial public offering.
Ms. Szporka earned a B.S. in finance from the University of Florida and an MBA from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
