Arjun Perumalpillai is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory business, focusing on the media, data & information services and GRC (governance, risk & compliance) sectors.

Select transaction experience includes advising Triple Private Equity on the acquisition of SmartSearch; Hg Capital on selling its minority stake in Argus Media to General Atlantic; GfK CP on its acquisition by YouGov; Tag on its sale to Dentsu; London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) on its acquisition of Quantile; Refinitiv on its acquisition of GIACT and its sale to LSEG; Opus Global on its sales of Alacra to an investor consortium and Hiperos to Coupa Software; and Nex Group on its sale to CME.

Mr. Perumalpillai joined Evercore as a graduate analyst in 2013 and has worked in the firm’s London and New York offices across U.K. M&A, fintech, media, data & information services and GRC.

He sits on the Fan Advisory Board at Chelsea Football Club and is a graduate of New College, University of Oxford.
