Anwer Gheddai is a managing director in Evercore’s private capital markets business, responsible for private credit capital raising and advising clients on syndicated high-yield and investment-grade financings.

He has more than a decade of experience assisting clients across industries in accessing the private and public capital markets, including advising AgroFresh, Diebold Nixdorf, Max Solutions, TechInsights, Toys “R” Us and Yum! Brands. In addition, he has advised financial sponsors on private market financings, including Apollo, Oakley Capital, Oaktree, Paine Schwartz Partners, and Swander Pace.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Gheddai was in the leveraged finance group at Goldman Sachs. He began his career at UBS in the financial sponsors group.

Mr. Gheddai earned his B.B.A. in finance and economics from Georgia State University.
