Andrew Spikins
Andrew Spikins is a managing director of the firm’s investment banking business.
Mr. Spikins has worked in Evercore’s London, New York and Hong Kong offices. He focuses on M&A and capital raisings in the utilities, infrastructure and broader industrial sectors.
Significant transactions include advising China Light & Power on acquisition of ExxonMobil’s Hong Kong electricity business (c. 7,000MW) (Hong Kong Deal of the Year, FinanceAsia); Astra International on acquisition of 25% interest in Trans Marga Jateng (73km of Trans Java Toll Road, Indonesia); (North America) NSTAR on its billion merger with Northeast Utilities; NiSource on sale of its retail services business to AGL Resources; and General Electric on sale of Oakley in-development power project.
Prior to Evercore, Mr. Spikins was in the utilities and infrastructure team at Lexicon Partners, acquired by Evercore in 2011. Earlier in his career, he worked at N M Rothschild & Sons in the M&A team in London.
He holds a master’s in aerospace engineering from Imperial College London and a Masters of Finance from Imperial College Business School.
