Abhinav Poddar is a senior managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory practice focused on industrial and services companies.

Since joining Evercore, Mr. Poddar’s notable transaction experience includes advising Ardurra, Artera, BrandSafway, Terra Millennium Corporation, TEAM Inc., CIRCOR, Martin Marietta Materials, Resideo Technologies, Raytheon/United Technologies, Stanley Black & Decker, Danaher and U.S. Concrete.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Poddar worked in the M&A group at Deutsche Bank, advising large corporate and sponsor clients on strategic transactions. Clients included General Electric, Atkore International, Thomas & Betts, Neff, NES Rentals, HD Supply, Timken, EchoStar, Time Warner Cable, Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) and Clayton Dubilier & Rice (CD&R).

Mr. Poddar holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management (Indore), and a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.
