Chris McNally

Chris McNally is a senior managing director responsible for lead coverage of global automotive & mobility equity research.

In 2025, he again was named to the Extel (formerly Institutional Investor) All-America Research Team for autos & auto parts, ranking runner-up in the category for the sixth consecutive year.

Mr. McNally has over two decades of experience covering industrials and autos for previous global buy-side firms, including SAC Capital, RWC Partners, Occitan Capital and Karsch Capital.

He joined Evercore in 2015 and has since spearheaded the firm’s expansion of traditional automotive coverage into the new frontier of electrification, auto tech, physical AI and autonomy within public and private markets globally.

He serves on the advisory board of the BioPhysical Economics Institute.

Mr. McNally graduated summa cum laude with a B.S in business from Cornell University and an MBA in finance from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University.
