Amit Daryanani

Amit Daryanani is a senior managing director covering the IT hardware and communications equipment sector.

He has been widely recognized for his research, consistently ranking in the Extel (formerly Institutional Investor) research poll for over two decades, including in 2025 as No. 1 in the IT hardware & electronics manufacturing services category and No. 2 in telecom & networking equipment. In 2024 and 2023, he also ranked in the top 2 in both categories.

Prior to joining Evercore ISI, Mr. Daryanani was at RBC Capital Markets for 15 years specializing in the IT hardware and semiconductor sectors.

Mr. Daryanani earned a B.S. degree in chemical engineering and an MBA from Northeastern University. He is a chartered financial analyst.
