Arnold Farber is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory practice with a focus on the building products, construction and distribution sectors.

Mr. Farber has been involved in a broad range of advisory assignments for clients globally. Notable transaction experience includes the acquisition of AZEK by James Hardie; sale of Gypsum Management & Supply to Home Depot; merger of American Woodmark with MasterBrand; sale of Masonite to Owens Corning; sale of Dura Supreme Cabinetry to MasterBrand; sale of Barrette Outdoor Living to CRH; sale of DiversiTech to Partners Group; sale of EFCO to Apogee Enterprises; and Armstrong World Industries’ spinoff of its flooring business.

Previously, Mr. Farber worked in the industrials groups at Jefferies and Barclays, following an earlier six-year tenure with Evercore as a vice president. He began his career as an investment analyst at Neuberger Berman and was in the restructuring group at FTI Consulting. He is a former CPA.

Mr. Farber holds a B.S. in economics from SUNY Albany and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
