Jim Wiltsee
Jim Wiltsee is a managing director in the firm’s healthcare group, with a particular focus on the life sciences sector.
Mr. Wiltsee has advised Apellis on its sale to Biogen; Teva on its acquisition of Emalex; Morphic on its sale to Eli Lilly; Merck on its acquisition of Harpoon Therapeutics; Interius on its sale to Kite (Gilead); MeiraGTx on the RPGR asset sale back to J&J; Editas Medicine on its cell therapy sale to Shoreline Biosciences; and the ad hoc group of first-lien term lenders in Mallinckrodt’s chapter 11 restructuring. Mr. Wiltsee has been involved in 20 IPOs and more than 50 follow-on equity offerings.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Wiltsee was in investment banking at BofA Merrill Lynch and Piper Sandler advising companies in the healthcare sector. Mr. Wiltsee began his career as a healthcare management consultant.
Mr. Wiltsee earned a B.A. from Haverford College and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
