Sir Simon Robey
Sir Simon Robey is a senior managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory practice.
Sir Simon was a founding partner of Robey Warshaw, acquired by Evercore in 2025. He has over 40 years’ experience advising clients on a broad range of transactions across industries and geographies, including in the U.K., where he has led the advice on the majority of the largest deals ever. Before Robey Warshaw, Sir Simon was at Morgan Stanley, where his roles included co-head of global M&A, head of global financial institutions group and head of the firm in the U.K.
He is vice president of the Royal Opera House and president of Britten Pears Arts, having been chair of both for many years. He is chair of the Royal Academy of Music.
Sir Simon read English at Magdalen College Oxford, where he was a choral scholar.
He was knighted in 2016 by Her Majesty the Queen for services to music.
