Jon Josephs
Jon Josephs is a senior managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory practice and focuses on capital goods and large-cap diversified industrial companies.
Notable transaction experience includes Carrier’s acquisition of Viessmann and the subsequent divestitures of Access Solutions to Honeywell, Commercial & Residential Fire to Lone Star, and Industrial Fire to Sentinel; Encore Wire’s sale to Prysmian; Pentair’s acquisition of Manitowoc Ice; Gorman-Rupp’s acquisition of Fill-Rite; Aaon’s acquisition of BASX; MTD’s sale to Stanley Black & Decker; SPX’s sale of Transformer Solutions to GE-Prolec; CSWI’s acquisition of TRUaire; Honeywell’s spinoff of Garrett Motion; General Cable’s sale to Prysmian; Black & Decker on its merge with The Stanley Works; Ingersoll-Rand’s acquisition of Trane; Goodman Global’s sale to Daikin; Hussmann’s sale to Panasonic; ZENON’s sale to General Electric; and IPOs for Evoqua, General Motors, Milacron and Goodman Global.
Mr. Josephs, who has over two decades of experience in industrials investment banking, served as managing director and global head of capital goods at J.P. Morgan. Previously, he held positions in financial operations at Internet Capital Group and was a senior auditor at Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Josephs holds a B.S. in accounting from Villanova University and an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
