Bennett Blau

Bennett Blau is a senior managing director in the firm’s healthcare strategic advisory group and focuses on medical technology. He is based in Menlo Park.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Blau was a managing director in Goldman Sachs’ healthcare investment banking group. He has more than 15 years of experience advising public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and capital markets transactions.

Notable transactions include advising Varian Medical Systems on its sale to Siemens Healthineers, Hillrom on its sale to Baxter, Intersect ENT on its sale to Medtronic, Zeus on its sale to EQT, and Byte on its sale to Dentsply. He also advised Johnson & Johnson on the divestiture of LifeScan, Medtronic on the separation of its patient monitoring and respiratory interventions business (since terminated), Revvity (formerly PerkinElmer) on its acquisition of BioLegend, and Warburg Pincus and Berkshire Partners on their majority investment in Ensemble Health Partners. Mr. Blau has also led numerous capital markets transactions in medtech, including the IPOs of Kestra Medical Technologies, Omada Health and Livongo.
