Jamie Prescott

Jamie Prescott is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice, specialising in financial services.

Mr. Prescott has advised on a broad range of M&A and capital markets transactions across various subsectors of the financial services market, including asset and wealth management, life insurance, property and casualty (re)insurance and insurance distribution.

Select transactions include the sale of Gresham House to Searchlight; BMS on its investment from Eurazeo; the sale of GRP to Brown & Brown; various stake sales in Pension Insurance Corp.; the demerger of M&G from Prudential and subsequent listing; Aquiline on the acquisition of Wealth at Work; the launch and capitalisation of Convex; and the sale of MS Amlin.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Prescott worked in the financial institutions group at Rothschild & Co in London.

He holds a degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Nottingham and qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC.
