Aditya Lohia
Aditya Lohia is a senior managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice, specializing in the global energy and energy transition sector.
Mr. Lohia has over 23 years’ experience and has advised on more than 60 completed transactions, with expertise across the energy value chain, covering hydrocarbons and new energies, and a track record across Europe, North America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
His notable M&A transactions include Technip Energies’ acquisition of Ecovyst AMC and the introduction of HAL as a cornerstone investor; Meren Energy’s acquisition of POGBV and farm-out in Namibia; the divestitures of Baker Hughes’ PSI business, Acteon, Altus Intervention and Sparrows; the merger of TransGlobe and VAALCO; TPG Rise’s acquisition of Trina Solar’s PV portfolio in Europe and Latin America; and the combination of Subsea 7 and Acergy. He has also advised on capital markets transactions, including SkyNRG’s capital raise from APG and Macquarie Asset Management; the IPOs of Saudi Aramco, HMH, Gaztransport Technigaz and Essar Energy; and the restructurings of DOF and Pacific Drilling.
Before joining Evercore in 2015, Mr. Lohia was at Deutsche Bank in London, where he began his banking career advising private equity firms on M&A and leveraged buyout financings before transitioning to natural resources and energy M&A. He holds a master’s degree in finance with distinction from London Business School and a first-class bachelor’s from Cardiff University, and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
