Jonathan Kelton

Jonathan Kelton is a managing director in Evercore’s real estate strategic advisory practice. His clients include real estate investment trusts (REITs), financial sponsors, real estate operating companies, real estate services companies and homebuilders.

Mr. Kelton has advised on a wide range of corporate M&A and capital raising transactions. Notable recent assignments include advising Brookfield Asset Management on its sale of Fundamental Income Properties to Starwood Property Trust, STORE Capital on its sale to GIC and Oak Street, LXP Industrial Trust on its activism defense against Land & Buildings, and the conflicts committee of the board of MGM Growth Properties on its sale to VICI.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Kelton was a vice president at Credit Suisse in the real estate group.

Mr. Kelton earned a B.A. from the Virginia Military Institute, where he studied international studies and political science, and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he concentrated in finance and real estate.
