Stefan Karg

Stefan Karg is a managing director and jointly leads Evercore’s European real estate team.

Mr. Karg advises public and private real estate companies, institutional investors and financial sponsors on strategic and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, recapitalisations and portfolio transactions. He helps lead the firm’s real estate advisory efforts across Europe and has extensive experience working with cross-border investors and operating platforms. Select publicly announced transactions include advising IVG Immobilien’s shareholders on the sale of OfficeFirst Immobilien to Blackstone; Blackstone on the sale of Residomo to Heimstaden; Deutsche Hospitality on its sale to H World Group; x+bricks on its sale to Slate Asset Management; and Cerberus on its acquisition of a residential real estate platform.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Karg was a director at Kuna & Co., a corporate finance advisory business acquired by Evercore in 2015.

Mr. Karg holds a degree in business administration from EBS Business School.
