Daniel Aronson

Daniel M. Aronson is a senior managing director in the firm’s Liability Management & Restructuring Group.

During his almost 40-year career, Mr. Aronson has advised on many of the largest, most complex liability management, restructurings, special situations, financings and distressed M&A transactions. Since he joined Evercore in 2016, Mr. Aronson has completed over 100 assignments representing companies, creditors and sponsors, often resulting in repeat business on several other transactions.

Mr. Aronson is a fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy and has testified in some of the most complex situations in U.S. Bankruptcy Courts. He also has guest lectured at Booth, Carey, Kellogg and Wharton Schools.

Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Aronson was a managing director at Lazard, where he served as co-CEO of the restructuring group and ran the Chicago office. He also was a senior member of Peter J. Solomon’s restructuring practice, and a partner at Ernst & Young’s restructuring practice.

Mr. Aronson graduated from Skidmore College with a B.S. in business. He is a designated CPA and Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
