David Raso

David Raso is a senior managing director and partner and heads the Industrials and Machinery Research Team.

In 2025, Mr. Raso ranked as the No. 1 machinery analyst in the Extel (formerly Institutional Investor) equity research poll for the 25th consecutive year. He was inducted into the inaugural 2011 All-America Research Team Hall of Fame.

Prior to joining ISI in 2008, he was a managing director at Citigroup, where he was also responsible for equity research coverage of the industrial machinery sector.

Mr. Raso earned a B.A. in economics from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and an MBA in finance and accounting from the New York University Stern School of Business.
