Stephen Kim

Stephen Kim is a senior managing director and head of Evercore ISI’s Housing Research Team. Mr. Kim is ranked No. 1 on the Extel (formerly Institutional Investor) 2025 All-America Research Team for homebuilders & building products and has held the premier spot every year since 2016. He has been inducted into Extel’s Hall of Fame.

Mr. Kim’s work focuses on national housing demographics, building products manufacturing and distribution, and emerging trends across both the new and resale housing markets. Mr. Kim has spent over three decades in equity research and investment management, and prior to joining Evercore ISI, he held lead analyst positions at Barclays, Citi and Deutsche Bank.

He earned a B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
