Moritz Mueller

Moritz Mueller is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory business, focusing on M&A in the utilities, infrastructure and transport sectors.

Previously, Mr. Mueller was a managing director in infrastructure M&A at Macquarie Group. Prior to that, he spent more than 12 years at DC Advisory in Frankfurt, most recently as a managing director. Earlier, he worked at Commerzbank and Dresdner Kleinwort.

Notable transactions include advising Cube Infrastructure Managers on the pending sale of Firstcolo to CVC DI; Igneo Infrastructure Partners on the pending acquisition of a majority stake in Die Neumann Gruppe; iCON Infrastructure on the pending acquisition of Northern Fiber Holding; Allianz on investments in Amprion and a portfolio of BESS projects developed by Kyon Energy; Infracapital on the sale of Infrafibre Germany to UGG; Hy24 on its investment in H2 Green Steel; Igneo Infrastructure Partners on the acquisition of a 50% stake in Westconnect alongside E.ON; and Breeze Three Energy on its sale to Statkraft.

Mr. Mueller earned a B.Sc. in international business from Tilburg University, an MBA from Warwick Business School and completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
