Dimi Georgiou
Dimitrios Georgiou is a senior managing director in Evercore’s investment banking business and has been a trusted advisor to clients in the capital goods, building products, construction and services sectors for over 30 years.
At Evercore, among other transactions, Mr. Georgiou advised McDermott International on the sale of Lummus Technology; McDermott on the Chapter 11 restructuring; Triton on the sale of Cobex to Tokai Carbon; PAI on its acquisition of M Group; and Anchorage Capital on its acquisition of Ideal Standard International.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Georgiou was at Citigroup for 14 years, where he was co-head of European industrials and global head of services, and at RBC Capital Markets for two years, serving as head of European industrials and services. Before his career in investment banking, he worked for eight years at Arthur Andersen in the business restructuring and insolvency, consulting and audit divisions.
Mr. Georgiou graduated from The University of Glasgow with first-class honours in Bachelor of Accountancy and was jointly awarded the Arthur Young Medal for most distinguished student. He is a chartered accountant and a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
