Prior to joining Evercore in 2011, he spent 23 years at JPMorgan Chase and was most recently Head of North America FIG and Co-Head of Global FIG. In this capacity over the last decade, he worked on several significant transactions including: advisor to Wells Fargo on the acquisition of Wachovia; advisor to PNC on the acquisition of National City; advisor to Santander on its acquisition of Sovereign; advisor to Ameriquest on its sale to Citigroup. He also served as an ongoing advisor to Capital One and CIT. Tim was the in-house advisor to JPMorgan Chase on the Washington Mutual acquisition and the swap of The Bank of New York’s branches for JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate Trust business. Prior to running FIG, Tim ran JPMorgan’s Equity Capital Markets group and worked on several high-profile transactions including the IPOs of Swisscom, Genentech, Heller Financial, CIT and Hertz. He also spent three years as Assistant to then Chairman and CEO Dennis Weatherstone, including leading the team that worked on the sale of Banesto, which had been seized by the Bank of Spain, to Santander.
Tim graduated from Princeton University, majoring in Economics and Mathematics.
